This hike is technically moderate and easy in trail with some stairs and signage’s. The round trip distance is 8 kilometres and the total elevation is 740 metres. At the top, you can see the view of Wadi Ghalilah.

We camped at Wadi Ghalilah not so far at the Dam area. It was beautiful and it was so cold during our camping on January. 😀

– Technical level is Moderate
– Endurance level is Hard
– We start our hike approx. 8:00 am
– The hike duration is 8-10 hours (depends on the speed and stops/breaks)
– We finished our hike approx. 5:00pm
– The round trip distance is about 15-18 km (mostly incline)
– We brought our own food
– No 4×4 is required to reach the hiking start point

Recommended hiking and camping gear:

– Proper hiking shoes
– 3/4 litres of water
– Headlamp or flashlight
– Sun screen, caps and sunglasses
– Backpack, preferably a camel pack
– Lunch, snacks and energy bars
– Hydration drink
– Extra shirts and towels

– Tent
– Sleeping bag
– Foods for dinner
